The Story After Ah Q.

Lessons as per normal since it a normal school day.

However, I didn't attend netball training once lessons ended.

Oh well, I was too lazy and tired to attend netball training.

Besides, netball training was gonna end at 6pm and coach will definitely drag the time.

I also needa to head back to school in my casual home clothes to go to Iluma to watch a Chinese musical drama with the other secondary 3 people and some secondary 2 higher Chinese students.

If I were to attend netball training, I would definitely not have the time to go home, change and prepare to head back to school again.

I also don't want to go and watch the Chinese musical drama feeling so uncomfortable, yucky, sweaty and stinky. Lol.

So yeah, I made my final decision to skip netball training instead.
As soon as lessons for the day ended, I headed back home.
Once I reached home, I rested for a short while and went to bathe.
I had a hard time trying to choose appropriate clothes to wear for the Chinese musical drama, "The Story After Ah Q".
All thanks to the stupid restrictions that our Chinese teachers have set for us, causing us to have a hard time finding appropriate clothing to satisfy all the strict conditions such as skirts/dress must be knee-length, no shorts, no tanktops/spaghetti tops, covered shoes only. Pfft.

I literally ransacked my wardrobe just to find something appropriate to wear. Gosh.

Once I was done preparing, I immediately headed out to Jurong Point to meet Jia Shu and Steffi.

Apparently, Joleen was damn late because she said I didn't tell her the timing of the meet-up when I'm so damn sure that I did.

I was kinda pissed off then and complaint to Jia Shu. Lol. :/

The three of us then headed to Lai Lai Kitchen to have our lunch.
When we were almost done with eating, the guys: Guan Yuan, Rong Zhou and Kim Hee came over to look for us.
Rong Zhou and Kim Hee then decided to have their lunch there too.
After awhile, Meng Seng arrived.
Suddenly, the strap of Steffi's sling bag broke so Jia Shu and I accompanied her to buy scotch tape to tape it up.
I helped her with the taping and soon, Joleen arrived.
After the guys were done with eating, we headed to the bus interchange to take the bus 181 to school together.
Once we reached school, we assembled with the others who are also attending the Chinese musical drama.
Soon, we boarded the bus and headed over to Iluma.
Apparently, Miss Zhang followed her form class hence a relief teacher took us there.
While we were in the bus, we played cheat and taiti together with the usual.
Pfft. Since there wasn't much space in the bus for all of us to gather and play cheat/taiti, Guan Yuan just had to sit on Fu Chui's lap or squeezed with us at the 5 seats. Lol.
Once we reached Iluma, we headed for the toilet and off we gathered so that we could enter the theater.
While walking in a straight line to get our seats in the theater, Wei Peng was behind me followed by Guan Yuan.
Apparently, he told Wei Peng to shoo because he wanted to sit beside me.
Then he keep hurrying Wei Peng to move aside until Wei Peng got a little frustrated and said, "I know you want to sit with Regine luh. Wait can anot?" LOL.
It was quite cramped inside hence we didn't have much space to move about. Lol.

When we finally got into the row where we were supposed to sit, Kim Hee and Meng Seng just had to separate me with the girls. Argh.

In the end, Guan Yuan sat at the end of the row while I sat beside him on my right.
While waiting for the show to start, Guan Yuan swapped seats with Meng Seng who was on my left because he wanna sit beside Kim Hee. Lol.
The Chinese musical drama, "The Story After Ah Q", was boring for me because I totally don't understand what the actors/actresses were saying because of my poor standard of Chinese. Lol.
I ended up simply watching the actions that they did, trying to comprehend a little.
Since we were quite hungry in the musical theater, I brought Strawberry Pocky to eat despite the fact that it's not exactly allowed.
I opened it up to eat it and also share it with Meng Seng, Guan Yuan and Kim Hee.

Soon, we had a short toilet break.
Once we were done, we headed back to the theater to continue with the musical drama.

The theater was damn cold and I was bearing with the coldness in there because I was lazy to take my biker jacket out of my bag.
Guan Yuan took Kim Hee's jacket to cover himself but after a while, he passed it to me for me to use because he was afraid that I would be feeling cold.

However, I refused to take it because he was feeling colder than me so I gave it back to him.
He kept persuading me to take it back to cover myself but I still refused to.
But soon, I accepted it and covered myself with it for a short while.
In the end, since Meng Seng was cold too, I passed it to him so that he could use it.
He used it for a short while and passed it back to me for me to use it because he was afraid I was feeling cold too.

I refused to accept it so I kept giving it back to him while he keep pushing it to me too.

In the end, Guan Yuan took another jacket from Kim Hee and asked me to share with him while Meng Seng gave up and used the precious jacket to cover himself.
I ended up sharing the jacket with Guan Yuan.
There was quite a number of creepy scene in the musical drama where the person covered his face with his long hair and the lighting was so damn dark.
I got pretty scared and ended up covering my eyes from watching it.
Since I was still quite curious, I only covered half of my view so that I could still see what was going on a little.
However, since Meng Seng knew I was scared, he used his brochure to block the entire view for me. Lol.
After a while, it was over but soon, it came again.
Hence, I faced Guan Yuan and covered my eyes while he tried to calm me down by telling me to chill and etc.
Soon, when the show was ending, the lights were on brightly and the cast all came out to bow and etc.

It was then when I saw that male actor with his hair covering his whole face clearly.

In the end, I wasn't scared anymore hence I simply watched it normally.
There was some short speech by the director of the show and then we were dismissed.

We then headed down to take the bus back to Jurong Point together as a class however, those living at Chua Chu Kang had a chance to take another bus to Chua Chu Kang instead of going all the way to Jurong Point.
In the end, the only 4 seats were occupied out of the 5 seats as Fu Chui took a different bus back home.
The relief teacher keep asking someone to sit beside me but we refused.
In the end, Kim Hee and co. kept asking Guan Yuan to sit beside me, telling him that he would understand if he wanna sit beside me but he refused to in the beginning.
After a while, he gave it up and came to sit beside me because he told me afterwards that he was afraid Kim Hee would go and sit beside me so he just went over to sit first.

Since everybody was tired, most of us fell asleep.

I took out my contact lenses because I didn't want to sleep with it on.
Apparently, Guan Yuan fell asleep first and ended up lying on my left shoulder. Lol.

I was trying to get some sleep but I simply couldn't because the bus was too shaky.
However, since Guan Yuan was sleeping on my shoulder and I didn't want to disturb him and wake him up, I simply stayed still at my position, pretending that I was sleeping.

Soon, we reached Jurong Point and all of us woke up.
Kim Hee, Jia Shu, Joleen, Meng Seng, Rong Zhou, Guan Yuan and I decided to head over to Mc Donalds to have our late dinner cum supper since we haven't eat anything yet while Steffi headed back home.
We had our dinner but I couldn't finish my fries. Lol.

Soon, Jia Shu and Joleen went back home first because they got a bus to catch and they were afraid that they'll miss the last bus.

After a while, Meng Seng and I decided to head back home too.

We left the rest and walked back home together while he sent me to the traffic light heading towards my house before going over to the other traffic light that's heading towards his house.
Home sweet home aftermath at about 11+pm, going to 12am. LOL.
Apparently, it's the first time that I reached home so late while going out with my lovely friends. ♥ :)
Alright, since I'm done with my showers and etc, I'm off to bed. Goodnight readers! :)

3Gigabyte's In-Touch Performance + Movie with Joleen & Kim Hee.

Since today was 3Gigabyte's In-Touch performance, we had to reach school slightly earlier than usual.
Basically, it was time for 3Gigabyte to shine. :)
Even though I went to school earlier than usual, I was still quite late as compared to others.

Once I reached the school, I immediately headed to the school hall.

When I entered the school hall, I already saw almost all 3Gigabyte, Mr Lee and Mr Ramesh there.

All of them were busy preparing and setting up stuffs to start the once last polishing rehearsal before the actual performance begins.

After the rehearsal ended, Westwoodians began entering the school hall for morning assembly hence all of us had to stop with our rehearsal.

Most 3Gigabyte went out the stage via the backstage door and had their silent reading, including flag raising ceremony at the corridoor of the school hall.

The backstage crew (Maisarah, Guan Yuan, Meng Seng and Qi Jun) remained at the stage, behind the projector screen.

Guan Yuan was burning warm at that point of time as though he has fever but he doesn't so, none of us knew what was the cause of it.

I was asked to accompany Maisarah even though I am the stage manager.

Kim Hee came over to join us since he has nothing better to do.

We all sat on the chairs behind the projector screen to chat instead of having our silent reading session.

When it was the flag raising ceremony, we had to stand up, facing the back of the projector screen. lol, it was quite weird to do so.

After silent reading and flag raising ceremony was over, the rest of the 3Gigabyte entered the stage to prepare for our In-Touch performance to the whole school.

Our In-Touch performance soon began and I extremely like the reactions of our audience. :D

The 3-girls skit, interview video, music video, love symbol skit and bloopers were extremely well done and everything was smoothly done except for a part when there was a technical error but luckily, we managed to overcome it as soon as possible so it wasn't much of an interference. :)
I like the positive comments on twitter and facebook about how our fellow Westwoodians enjoyed our In-Touch performance and I'm extremely glad about it. :)
Overall, our In-Touch performance was a success. :D
I'm proud of 3Gigabyte and I'm sure that Mr Lee and Mr Ramesh are proud of us too.
I'm glad that we didn't disappoint them and we managed to reach our expectations at the end of it despite some problems that we came across causing us to postpone our In-Touch performance.
Each and everyone of us definitely put in a lot of effort for this. :)
Once it was the end of our In-Touch performance and Westwoodians were dismissed, we quickly clear and clean up the stage.
Then, we headed back to our classroom for our lessons as per normal.
All of us were extremely sloppy and tired from all the preparations for our In-Touch rehearsals.
After all our lessons for the day ended, Jia Shu, Joleen, Fu Chui, Steffi and I headed to the MRL to edit our Social Studies powerpoint slide for our presentation on Saturday.
After much editing, we immediately headed to the level 3 staff room to look for Ms Jennifer Yeo so that she'll be able to check our powerpoint slides and tell us on what to improve on so that we can make the amendments.
We're the last group that could consult Ms Yeo since she was gonna go shopping afterwards. Lol.

Once we were done with the consultation, we headed over to the MRL to tell the rest of our classmates that Ms Yeo was not going to entertain anymore consultations.
After that, all of us rushed back home.
Jia Shu, Steffi and Fu Chui headed back home while Joleen and I rushed to Jurong Point because we were late for a movie with Kim Hee.
Unfortunately, the movie tickets are at home so I had to run back home to get it while Joleen went to look for Kim Hee.
Once I got the movie tickets from my house, I ran back to Jurong Point to meet Joleen and Kim Hee.
Apparently, we were already late for the movie. Oops, my apologies.
As a result, we missed the beginning part of the movie, "The Smurfs", together.

Skipped lunch with Joleen since we were in a rush and didn't have the time to have our lunch.
In the end, we ended up eating and drinking the popcorn and drinks that Kim Hee bought while watching the movie. Oops. :/

I must say that it's an awesome movie. :)
It's absolutely cute, touching, sweet and definitely, smurfy. Hahaha!

After the movie ended, all of us headed back home.

In-Touch rehearsal.

Basically, after class ended, we had a short break.
Even though it was a CCA day, 3Gigabyte were excused from each of our respective CCA for our final In-Touch rehearsal.
Once we had our short break, we assembled at the hall to prepare for our final In-Touch rehearsal.
As soon as we were done with the preparation, we began our In-Touch rehearsal.
This time around, instead of rehearsing by ourselves, Mr Lee and Mr Ramesh were there to assist us. :)
I feel that it's better to have Mr Lee and Mr Ramesh assisting us so that we'll know better of what we are lacking.

They will be there to guide us and apparently, most of us will take their advices more seriously.
As such, we will put in more effort to improve for our In-Touch.
During the first few rehearsals, it was obvious that we still need to do lots of improvements and amendments for our In-Touch.
Some of us were still not taking it seriously and they were fooling around.
Oh well, I have to admit that as a stage manager, I was fooling around at times too.
Some badminton girls were watching our In-Touch rehearsal and they are having their CCA in the hall too.
As soon as the badmintin CCA ended, we began with our intensive In-Touch rehearsal.
We kept rehearsing and rehearsing non-stop.
We also waited for Mr Ramesh to come over to view our In-Touch presentation.
3Gigabyte became serious after getting reprimanded by Mr Lee and Mr Ramesh.
It was then when all of us became serious and determined to put in our best efforts for a perfect In-Touch presentation to the whole school.
There will lesser fooling around and more efforts being put in.
Without knowing, it was soon 6+pm.
All of us wanted to do our best and faster get over with it so that we can get back home to rest.
After several rehearsals, I am sure that all of us were exhausted.
Just when we thought we were done with it and we could be dismissed, Mr Ramesh requested for one more final rehearsal and it has to be perfectly done or else we would have to repeat our rehearsal again.
We immediately prepared for the rehearsal after our short break was over and after Mr Rameh came back.
Being at the backstage was quite scary as it was quite dark inside.
Steffi and Si Qi said that they heard a cat meowing at the backstage and all of us got a little frightened.
Brenda and co. soon began scaring us. Lol.
Nonetheless, our final In-Touch rehearsal was a success as such Mr Ramesh and Mr Lee agreed to dismiss us.
There is a Geography test that Geography students had to take tomorrow hence we would also need to study. Lol.
When we had our final class discussion regarding In-Touch, suddenly there was 1 or 2 cats that ran out of the hall and most of the girls got scared.
I saw one of the cats as black but others said that it was brown and white. Omg.
When we packed up, Brenda saw the girls toilet at the backstage with the lights on.
We told Meng Seng to have a look at it.
He went and the door was locked so he simply switched off the lights as there was nothing.
Once we were done packing up, we left the hall.
It was dark and raining heavily hence Mr Ramesh and Mr Lee decided to send us to the nearest bus stops with their cars.
Hence, we had to wait for them at the foyer and the thunder was roaring loudly.
However, when we were at the foyer, we saw Mr David Chua on his way to head back home.
He saw that all of us were at the foyer waiting so he decided to help out.
He went over to take the keys to open the back gate for us so that it would be better and more convenient for us.
By going to the bus stop via the back gate, we would not be touching the rain too.
So, he went to open it for us and we followed.
We thanked him and took the bus back home together.
Jia Shu, Steffi, Guan Yuan, Meng Seng, Rong Zhou, Malik, Kim Hee and I then took the bus back home together while Steven and others ran under the rain via the front gate.
We made some arrangement to watch a movie together after school tomorrow but in the end, most of them backed out since they needed to
prepare for the upcoming Social Studies presentation.
I reached Jurong Point and went to buy the movie tickets for the movie, "Smurfs" tomorrow.
I was lucky to have Meng Seng accompany me. :)
After buying the tickets,I had to call home so that Daddy would come down to Jurong Point to fetch me home since it was still raining heavily and had no umbrella.
Meng Seng walked me to the traffic light heading towards my house before walking over to another traffic light towards his house. :)
I then waited for Daddy to come and fetch me under the shelter at the traffic light.
Daddy then came over to fetch me with umbrellas.
Home sweet home at about 7+pm. :)
