World Netball Championship 2011

Sunday, 3rd July 2011.

Went out to have lunch with Mummy and Daddy. After that, Daddy sent me to school to meet up with the other netballers at 4pm. Waited for the rest of the netballers to arrive then we boarded the bus to Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch the opening ceremony of World Netball Championship and Singapore VS Botswana. Cheered here and there. Lol. The tidbits and drinks that they sold there were costly.

Basically, most of us were bored and hungry because we didn't have our dinner. We had to endure until the whole opening ceremony of World Netball Championship and Singapore VS Botswana match ended. Apparently, the whole thing ended only at 9pm. Lol.

Once it ended, we took the bus back to school. Daddy and Mummy then came over to fetch me. We then went to the drive-in Mac Donalds at the Jurong Central Park to buy my late dinner. Lol. Home sweet home aftermath.

Wednesday, 6th July 2011.
Basically, school was as per normal. It's just that the secondary 3 netballers were released at 12pm instead of 1.30pm. Went to prepared everything and off we boarded the bus to Singapore Indoor Stadium for setting up the Jamaica's booth since we were selected to do it. Reached there and immediately started setting up the booth and also, decorating it.

Once we were done with our stuffs, we slacked around and waited for the Jamaica's netball girls also known as the Sunshine Girls to arrive. We also watched some matches played by other countries and etc. At about 6+pm, we started packing and clearing up the Jamaica's booth that we made.

Some of the people there were quite friendly and we took some pictures with them. Sadly, the pictures are all with Haniss and Fatin thus, I don't have any of it to upload here. Once we were done with packing up, we watched Singapore VS Jamaica for 1 quarter. Then, we headed to take the bus back to school. Reached school and home sweet home aftermath! :)
